Who has a ton of black and white in their closet?
I know I do! With this outfit today, I’m going to show you how I mixed them together and came up with this look. This outfit can really fit in with any time of the year just by changing out the bottoms. The colors are black and white so you really can wear them all year round. Change the shorts to black pants and wha-la, Its perfect for fall and winter. Put the shorts back on and wear it for spring or summer. I guess since it has open arms it might be a little chilly to wear in the winter. It all depends where you live and the weather.
I love how rebellious this outfit looks. It really has to do with the black vest. It pretty much makes the outfit with the fringe giving it an edgy vibe. Paired with a white graphic tee to make it more of a casual wear outfit. I love the way it came together. The vest can be worn with a lot of different looks as well. In my previous post I wore a black and white striped dress. I tried this vest with that dress and fell in love with it! But that look will be for another day. I put a pair of light blue denim shorts with this. I tried on a pair of white shorts and black shorts and they looked fine but for some reason this light blue denim really stood out when I tried it on. I just loved the way it popped.
I put so many accessories with this outfit, cause how could I not? I had so much that went with this look it was hard to even choose what I wanted. I’m sure by now you all have a black choker necklace. If not you need to get one. They go with so much and you can find them for super cheap at any store really or just make one yourself with a piece of black fabric. Super easy. But I love all my chokers. I may have an obsession. haha. So I put a choker with this outfit and my favorite black belt. I tucked in the graphic tee because the belt detail matched the booties I was wearing perfectly, so I just could’t let the belt be covered. Next are the black aviators that worked great with this look as well. It was just what I wanted. I put a rusty red cross body bag with this look to give it just a tiny pop of color. It really gave it a vintage-y vibe!
Last are these booties! So true story. I got these booties and the cross body bag at Rue 21 on sale for $5!! Yeah! I couldn’t believe it either. They are not super cheap looking either. I was so happy I found them but could not find them online so maybe look in their store near you and you could be lucky enough to find them there! But these booties looked so great with this look. I love the buckle detail it has, it really gives the look a festival kind of feel! That’s pretty much it for this outfit. Hope you like this look as much as I do!
