I am sharing a family favorite recipe with you guys! My family refers to them as “Deb’s Brownies”, my sister’s friend’s mom (say that 3 times fast), held the recipe hostage and when she offered to bring anything to a gathering, we always requested she make them! Now that the recipe is out, I couldn’t wait to share it! They’re a little rich and scream chocolate, chocolate, chocolate.. but are always a crowd-pleaser.
Hayden and I had intentions of making these Brownies for a Super Bowl Party we went to but I couldn’t find a “football” cookie cutter on-hand so we switched it up and made heart shaped ones for Valentine’s Day! We still took them to the party 😉
Brownie Mix, make as directed on box (I used Betty Crocker)
1 jar Jet-Puffed Marshmallow Crème
1 c. Creamy Peanut Butter
1 c. Chocolate Chips
1 c. Rice Krispies (the cereal)
Preheat oven to 350*. Prepare Brownie mix as directed on the box & spread in a large cookie sheet pan. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until inserted toothpick comes out clean. Layer with Marshmallow Crème (tip: do it while the brownies are still warm, it will spread much easier). Then melt peanut butter & chocolate chips in a separate dish and mix in Rice Krispies. Finally spread the chocolate topping over the marshmallow layer. Last but certainly not least, add sprinkles!
Let cool and cut into desired shapes, or squares.. they all taste the same! 😉
Hope you enjoy & let me know what you think!
